RBT Assessment: Competency Test for Certification

Initial RBT Competency Assessment (Virtual or In-Person)

We offer the Initial RBT Competency Assessment, which is essential for those looking to apply for the RBT certification exam as required by the BACB®. This competency test for RBT is conducted by a certified BCBA® and covers all necessary skill areas according to BACB® guidelines. We provide flexible scheduling options, including both in-person and rbt competency assessment online formats. To ensure readiness and streamline the assessment process, participants will complete a Pre-Screen Questionnaire. Our assessment is fully aligned with the RBT Handbook rules and guidelines. The one-time fee for the assessment is $150, with a $75 down payment required to schedule your assessment and the remaining $75 due upon successful completion.

Please note that we currently provide only the initial RBT competency test for those who have completed the 40-hour RBT training. At this time, we do not offer renewal assessments.

These assessments are intended solely to evaluate the skills required for initial RBT certification and are not a guarantee of employment or ongoing supervision.

Our assessors are Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) in good standing and operate independently of any hiring or supervisory relationship unless otherwise stated. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethical practice, ensuring objectivity, integrity, and compliance with the BACB’s Professional and Ethical Compliance Code.
