Structured Teaching Interventions & Methods (STIM) Training offers participants a unique opportunity to engage in both lecture-based learning and hands-on application. Through evidence-based practices, participants will explore the foundational elements of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and structured teaching, then implement strategies in a simulated classroom setting alongside real students and experienced trainers.
Training topics include:
Participants will leave equipped with practical tools to design systematic, engaging, and productive classrooms that promote optimal for student success.
Led by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), participants will train with seasoned professionals who bring real-world knowledge in structured teaching and applied behavior analysis.
Explore how to collect, interpret, and apply data effectively to support student success and make meaningful instructional choices.
Through creative, evidence-based strategies, participants will break away from traditional methods to meet the diverse needs of their students.
Interactive sessions provide opportunities to practice new skills, receive immediate feedback, and build confidence through real application.
By working directly with students in a simulated classroom, participants will apply what they’ve learned in an authentic, supportive environment.
Every session is designed to be purposeful and energizing, with materials, coaching, and collaboration that support true professional growth.

Learn strategies, then implement them through guided practice and real-world application.
Each day of training builds on the previous one to ensure deep understanding and confident implementation. Full participation ensures you're equipped to apply strategies with fidelity across environments.
Focus: Physical, Visual, & Academic Structure (Including Task Completion)
Establish a predictable and supportive learning environment by designing physical layouts, visual supports, and academic routines that promote engagement, independence, and successful task and work completion. Participants will learn how to structure tasks so students know what to do, how much to do, and when they are finished—reducing frustration and increasing follow-through.
Focus: Function, Triggers, and Meaning
Explore what behavior is communicating by identifying patterns, triggers, and underlying needs. Participants will learn to look beyond the behavior itself to understand why it is happening, allowing for more thoughtful and effective support.
Focus: Responses That Regulate and Repair
Learn practical, in-the-moment strategies for responding to behavior using calm, consistent approaches that reduce escalation, support regulation, and strengthen relationships.
Focus: Meaningful Data
Learn simple, realistic ways to collect data that actually helps. Participants will identify what’s worth tracking, how to gather information naturally during daily routines, and how to use patterns to guide decisions.
Focus: Generalization
Ensure success beyond the training by learning how to generalize strategies across staff, settings, and situations—so skills transfer where they matter most.
